Spring

I love spring. It has been so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the lovely weather. Last week we ventured out into the yard for the first time this season. Dad mowed the lawn, I raked up the grass, and Ellie moaned while she sat on a blanket close by. She just wanted to be more involved. She finally settled down for a bit when I gave her a rake, . She should enjoy her blanket while she still can. Soon enough we'll be using those little fingers as weed pickers in the flower beds.

With spring also comes Easter. I don't know why, but I love to dye eggs for Easter. I love to search the internet for new and fun ways to decorate them. Yesterday BriAnn and Isaac came over for the day and we colored some eggs in the afternoon. Dad got home a little early from school so he became the baby sitter

Our pretty Eggs
Daddy being a great sitter. His hitch hiker thumbs made for great pacifiers.
A cute idea I remember doing a hundred years ago with egg shells

Pants

Conference was a couple weeks ago, but I haven't had time to get these silly pictures uploaded. I spent Conference Sunday at my parent's house while Daddy helped the pharmacy moved again. Uncle Lee must have been bored during conference, so he had fun with Ellie's pants. He started with this...

And it morphed into this....
He stuffed them full of paper. I have no idea where he came up with this idea, but they make for cute pictures.
